CVS Scenario 10/02/11

Great starter week at CVS.  I put together a basic scenario for you - The total OOP is $2.24 (pre-tax) for $23.49 sale priced merchandise, and you are left with $5.00 in ECBs. That is 90% savings not including the ECBs left over! This was created with at least 3 papers in mind.

Reminders for CVS...

  • You MUST have a CVS ExtraCare card (free in-store) in order to get the sale prices and Extra Care Bucks (ECB) back.
  • ECBs print at the end/bottom of your receipt

Transaction #1
(1) Bengay, 2-4 oz gel, starting at $5.49 Limit 1
Use:
(1) $5/1 Bengay products,  9/11 SS
Pay 49¢, earn $5 ECB
Transaction #2
(6) Dove Hair Care (Shampoo, Conditioner or Styler), 4-12 oz, $3
Use:
(3) B1G1 Dove hair care product , max $6, 10/02 RP
(3) 75¢/1 Dove hair care product, PRINT HERE or 10/02 RP
$5 ECB
Total Due: $1.75, earn $5 ECB

LINGO:
ECB = Extra Care Bucks, printed at the end of receipt after transaction to be used on your next purchase
CRT = Cash Register Tape, coupon can print on receipt or at the Red Scanner Machine
Limit X = The limit of deals per CVS Card. Once you have reached the limit, no other ECBs will print for that specific deal.
