CVS Scenario 05/29/11 - $2.99 OOP

UPDATE: This scenario worked very well.  You should have no problems.  Good luck!

CVS is cheap this week!  This was created with at least 2 papers in mind.  The total OOP is $2.99 for $21.98 sale priced merchandise.  That is 86% savings!

Reminders for CVS... 
  • You MUST have a CVS ExtraCare card (free in-store) in order to get the sale prices and Extra Care Bucks (ECB) back.
  • ECBs print at the end/bottom of your receipt

Here we go.............

Transaction #1
(1) Preparation H wipes 10 ct., $3.99 Limit 1
(2) Mars Chocolate Singles, 1.08-2.15 oz, 50¢ ea. Limit 1
Use:
(1) $2/1 Preparation H Product, PRINT HERE
Pay $2.99, Earn $3.99 ECB, $1.00 ECB

Transaction #2
(1) Bic Soleil Shimmer Razor Starter Kit or Cartridges, 4 ct., $6.99 Limit 1
Use:
(1) $3/1 Bic Soleil disposable or System razor, SS 5/01
$3.99 ECB from Transaction #1
Pay 0.00, Earn $3 ECB

Transaction #3
(2) Cortaid @ $5.00 Limit 1 (approx. price)
Use:
(2) $3 off Cortaid product, RP 5/15
$3 ECB from Transaction #2
$1 ECB from Transaction #1
Pay $0.00, Earn $3 ECB

Now...You can save the $3ECB for next week to start with OR you can pick up some toilet paper! This is how I get free or cheap toilet paper, as the ECB is one less thing I have to keep track of in my binder or lose out it if it expires!

LINGO for this week:
ECB = Extra Care Bucks, printed at the end of receipt after transaction to be used on your next purchase
CRT = Cash Register Tape, coupon can print on receipt or at the Red Scanner Machine
Limit X = The limit of deals per CVS Card.  Once you have reached the limit, no other ECBs will print for that specific deal.
